Long time fan of your writing. always been skittish to write in requests or prompts even when I see them come up but plucking up the pre-new year courage!

was thinking from the movie, having loved Wolvie & Pool, but also being fond of Gambit. Ergo, mental image of Gambit and Pool teaming up on Wolvie- could be he’s taken the liquors, could be the debonair card-worker wants to show his money is where his mouth is when he talks a good game with Pool, could be competition or just plain they wanted to and Wolvie’s the prime lee we all know and love. Worlds the pearl.

Thank you for your note and for getting the courage to send it! I really do encourage people to send me their ideas or just any of their ramblings in general. Ah Gambit. I feel like I would probably be pretty bad at writing him, but it's always worth a shot, right? lol There was someone on here that had written a fun Gambit and Pool team up on Wolvie around when the movie came out but I think they deactivated their account sadly. Maybe that's a sign that we need to make a new one! I've been having trouble getting ideas and motivation to finish a fic (think I have like 3 WIPs right now) so if anyone wants to chime in with any solid ideas then I'm all ears! I really would love to finish and post something for you guys that are still hanging around here. 😅

Heyo!!! I’m baaaaaaack! Did anyone miss me? Anyways, I’m making Rogue x Gambit fic because I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! Oh and Rogue will say “Ah” instead of “I” to emphasize her Southern accent (they do this in some comics too) Enjoy!

Rogue had an inhibitor on, it looked kinda like a necklace to some. She was just touch starved, and she wanted to be touched and cuddled by a specific person. That person would be none other than Gambit, aka, Remy LeBeau.

The two lovers were currently cuddling in bed. Rogue was in a tank top and shorts, and Gambit was wearing a tank top and sweatpants. Rogue was nuzzling her face against Gambit’s neck, taking in the way his skin felt. Gambit was also enjoying this time with his girl, giving her kisses and tracing her skin.

Gambit ended up tracing the skin under Rogue’s forearm which made her flinch. Remy immediately stopped what he was doing.

“Chére, are you alright?” Gambit asked, for now he was worried.

Anna just chuckled a little. “Ah’m fine sugar. Ah’m just a little sensitive Ah guess.” She said in her sweet Southern accent.

This caused the Cajun to smirk a little bit. He hadn’t experimented with his Southern Belle’s sensitivity for obvious reasons. Her mutant ability didn’t allow her to even place a hand on him frequently, so this was a bit excitement.

“Oh really? Then you don’ mind if I…” Gambit then brushed his fingers against Anna’s sides.

The reaction was almost instant. Rogue let a squeak and curled up as best as she could. This caused Gambit’s smirk to grow.

“Ohohoho! What’s this Chére? Ticklish?” He started tickling her for real now. “You gon’ be all cute for me?”

“Ehehe! Nohohoho! Eek! Ihihihit tihihickles!” She giggles, and already screwed her eyes shut.

Gambit rolled her tank top up to her ribs, so her midsection was revealed. He then leaned down and started blowing small raspberries on her stomach.

Rogue let out a mix of a squeal and a snort. “AHAHaha! CAHAHahajuhuhun! NOHOHohoT thahAHAT!” Anna tried to push Remy’s face away from her stomach.

Gambit was trying his best not to laugh along with his girl. “God Chére, you are too adorable~!” He then blew a big raspberry right on her bellybutton.

“EEEHEHEEAHAHAHA! NOHOHOHO!!” Rogue squealed, letting out a few cackles.

Gambit couldn’t hold back his own laughter after that. “Oh god you are way too cute Chére!” He teased while laughing.

“A-Ah hate you Gambit….” She said while catching her breath.

“You love me~” He said in a sultry tone.

But before Rogue could say anything else, Gambit attacked her armpits with tickles. This caused the loudest squeal he has ever heard to come from Rogue.

“GAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHA! NAHAHAH! STAHAHAHAHAP IHIHIT!! STAHAHAHAP!” Rogue started to beg for him to stop.

Thankfully for Rogue, Gambit did stop. Gambit gave her forehead a kiss.

“You are too cute when tickled~” Gambit smirked.

Rogue huffed and pushed at his shoulder. “Ah…” she was speechless. She didn’t know if she enjoyed it or not.

Remy ran his fingers through her hair. “How ‘bout I make it up to you huh?”

Rogue smiled. “That would be nice…”

hi there, fluffyficsanddreams here checking in! i know i’ve been absent from tumblr as well, i apologize, life has been pretty hectic lately. i did see the prompt that was just sent in though!! unfortunately i know little to nothing about Gambit and his personality, but i really wanted to try and give you some ideas anyway because i know they can be really hard to come up with.

honestly the first thing that popped into my head was the fact that Gambit, in my mind based on the movie and a couple other things i’ve seen, is quite the talker himself and would probably get along great with Wade (despite the latter only understanding what he’s saying half the time, but he goes along with it anyway). this makes me think that Remy is a big tease if he were to tickle someone (especially someone as tough as Wolvie, hehe), except it’s just hilarious to whoever happens to be nearby because it’s basically impossible to understand what on earth he’s saying between his accent and his victim’s laughter. basically means whoever he’s tickling says a lot of “whahahat?!”

that and just the fact he’s probably very good with his hands because of dealing cards and fighting with them, so he’d be incredibly nimble, keeping his victim on their toes lol.

wow, i wrote a little much… whoopsies. i hope you find some semblance of inspiration in my blabbering lol! happy late holidays to you friend, much love from me as always!! ❤️❤️

No apology needed, friend. I don't expect people to be on here 24/7. I sure as hell am not. lol But thank you for taking a moment to share your Gambit headcanons with me! I agree 100% with them!

He definitely would be more on the chatterbox side with Wade and yeah, that thick accent is really going to cause some translation issues. lol The idea of him teasing in that accent cracks me up because his words would just be like a big run on sentence that's all blended together which really would make it difficult for his victim to understand exactly what he's saying, though I'm sure they would get the idea.

And yes, some seriously dexterous fingers that man has. Always having to manipulate those cards and their trajectory they would be some serious weapons against a ticklish person who happened to cross him. 🤭

Now just need to come up with a solid idea so I can implement all these details in there. 🤔 Been trying to think of something but haven't been able to figure it out yet. Anyone else have any ideas then give me a shout!
