“Aw c’mon Ray, won’t you play with us?” Someone asked at Ray’s side.
Ray looked over to see Phil’s glowing eyes staring up at him.
“Not right now, Phil. I’m reading something important.
“Awww c’mon! Pleeeease!” Phil folded his hands.
Ray rolled his eyes and couldn’t help but smile.
“Okay, I’ll play with you. Just give me a little bit to finish this up okay?”
“Okay!” Phil skipped away.

About ten minutes later and Ray was still reading. Phil was going to go back over when he thought he could use some help.
He managed to round up Lani, Thoma, and Jenima. Together, they all headed towards their older sibling, their plan of action already in motion.
“Ray!!” They all yelled at once making him jump.
“Oh my gosh you guys scared me! What do you want?”
“You said you would play with us. But you’re still reading.” Phil said grabbing for the book.
Ray quickly brought it out of his reach above his head, only for it to be grabbed by Lani.
“Hey! Give that back!” Ray stood up and chased him around for a few seconds before Thoma came up behind him and tackled him to the ground.
“What the heck?! Get off of me!” Ray struggled to get up only for Thoma to flip him over and sit on his thighs.
Lani set the book down and walked over to grab his arms and hold them above his head.
Phil and Jenima sat down on either side.
“Phil! What are you guys doing?!” Ray pulled at his arms, but Lani had gotten strong and wouldn’t let him escape.
“We’re playing with you. Like you said you would.” Phil pokes his exposed side causing
Ray to gasp, eyes widening. He knew what was coming and couldn’t escape.
“No! Guys wait I’ll play with now!”
“Too late!” Jenima smiled skittering her fingers across his neck and ears.
“Nohohohoho!” Ray twisted his head.
“Yes!” Lani and Thoma said together. Lani sat on Ray’s arms so he could poke at Ray’s underarms. Thoma scribbled away at Ray’s stomach, giggling at the way Ray squealed before falling into loud laughter.
“Guhuhuhuys! Plehehehease!”
Phil giggled along and clapped his hands.
“Yay! Ray is playing with us!” Phil said as he made his way down to Ray’s knees.
“NOHO! Phihil nahahat thehere!” Ray kicked his legs, but being sure as to not hit his little brother.
“You should’ve played with us when we first asked.” Thoma said squeezing the sides of this stomach.
“Ihihihihi’m sohohohorry! Juhust nahahahaha- nahat the knehehehes!”
Ray scrunched his shoulders when Jenima hit a particularly sensitive spot behind his ear.
“Yes! Get his knees, Phil! They’re really bad!” Lani shouted.
“Okay!” Phil happily answered.
Phil grabbed onto the tops of Ray’s knees and started squeezing.
“NAHAHAHAHAHAHA! PHIHIHIL! GUHUHUHUYS! PLEHEHEHEHEASE!”
Ray’s feet drummed against the grass.
“Ray’s laughing!” Phil giggled.
Jenima, Lani, and Thoma laughed along.
“OKAY! OKAHAHAHAHAHAY!” Ray pleaded when Phil scribbled under his knees right as Thoma went for his hips.
“Are you gonna play with us?” Lani asked, him and Jenima poking at his ribs.
“IHIHIHI WHIHIHILL!! IHIHAHAHAHAHAHAHA- IHIHI PROHOHOMIHISE!”
After a few more pokes and squeezes, they got off of him and helped him sit up.
“You guhuys are such trouble.” Ray ruffled Phil’s hair.
Jenima scooted close and hugged his side, smiling bright when he returned the hug.
“Group hug!” Lani yelled joining the embrace.
Soon enough, they were all hugging and giggling.
“We love you, Ray!” They all shouted at once. Ray stiffened before blushing.
“I love you guys too. Now c’mon, who wants to play tag?”
The kids all shouted in response and started to run as Ray chased after them.
Of course they were all caught after few minutes and got some well deserved tickles.
A few more rounds later and they headed back to go to bed. Another amazing day.
