I can’t understand why this mangaka portays that kind of behavior as something funny, as a comic relef scene. It’s like every time Aladdin touches a woman’s boobs without her permission (which is even worse since she’s also sexualizing a kid on these scenes). And now people are thinking that sexual harassment is “shipping material’’ and ‘’cute’’ on top of that? ugh!

idk if this is an unpopular opinion but since characters are being resurrected i want to see Gyokuen back in action whether it is by taking over Hakuei or someone else

I’m not sure either whether this is an unpopular opinion or not, but it’s one of my favourites fan theories.

I’d love for Arba to take over Hakuei or at least to possess another person.

I think if Hakuei doesnt side with her brother she shouldnt side with anyone at all especially not Kouen & Koumei I hope Ohtaka does something about her character

Personally I agree with you. However, realistically speaking, she will probably side with Kouen and Koumei (I actually think that she has already done that).

I also hope that Ohtaka will do something with her  because right now she’s pretty undeveloped as a character. Furthermore there are a lot of questions about her left unanswered. Does she knows about what happened to her family? Did she tried to reason with Hakuryuu and if not why she didn’t tried? Does she knows everything about Kouen and Koumei’s business and if yes how does she agrees with them since she supposed to be a pacifist? Honestly Ohtaka should focus a bit more on her, but knowing the treatment the magi girls usually get, I’m not too optimistic about it.

People are pretty much shitting on Judal and Hakuryuu now after everything & it's something that doesn't really sit well with me, but I would like to know your opinion on this whole thing

People will always dislike morally gray characters. That doesn’t surprise me. Hakuryuu and Judal have done some questionable actions and it is understandable that people feel the need to critisize them for that.

However, more often than not, I’ve seen people just calling them degrading names instead of explaining their negative opinion on them. That doesn’t help the conversation to move forward as you can’t talk with someone who blindly bashes a character. That’s why I personally choose to ignore people like these ones.

In my opinion, Judal and Hakuryuu will remain two of the most interesting characters of magi no matter what some fans might say.
