i know it's from a while ago, but im obsessed with the two posts you made regarding lero ro and yu hansung from ToG... the way you wrote the tension between those two is seriously so good and just leaves you wanting more. esp love the line of lero ro noting the tone with which hansung said his name etc... ah this is so rambly, but its super nice to read something on these two bc ive always liked their dynamics (and its underappreciated!) 💕💕
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind message. I know I have been a litteral ghost for the past months, I have a lot of new projects taking my time so fanwriting isn't on my priority list right now but your message just made my day! You made me remember how much I love these idiots, so I wanted to write part three for you. Here you go! (forget the part where it took me months to answer this, no it did not)
Lero-Ro’s question hangs in the air between them, his hand locked on the doorknob. Yu Han Sung never, never calls for him, leaves him wondering the reason behind it. He has always been an exemplary Ranker, took pride in it ever since the first day he laid foot upon the ivory ground of the tower.
Yu Han Sung barely looks up from the cup between his fingers.
But he does. Their eyes meet, for a split second only, and if he couldn’t blame it on the distance between them, Lero-Ro would have swore he saw the satisfied smile on his face.
“What for?” He asked, because he had to, because he could not hold back the dreadful wonder in his heart.
Yu Han Sung’s cup laid against the wood of his desk in an elegant gesture both knew Lero-Ro had followed atentively. If he was to look up from the cup, he would see Yu Han Sung stare at him, but he was not yet enough of a fool to embarass himself on purpose.
He had called him all the way here, leaving the tower and the new, golden-eyed child without surveillance for coffee.
No matter how much he protested, how indignated he was or how loud his voice echoed, Yu Han Sung refused to move. Stared at him with the sly, fox-like smile on his face.
“If there's nothing to discuss about, I'll take my leave. I'm busy.”
Both of them stared. It’s what it came down to, ultimately. They stared because Lero-Ro refused to walk the needed step between. Because, of all things, Yu Han Sung treated it like a game.
So, maybe Lero-Ro did stare a bit more intensely. Maybe Yu Han Sung got lost and his eyes wandered over Lero-Ro’s figure. Maybe they stared, and what for? There was nothing to look at, to uncover.
“Just sit down, Lero-Ro. I thought you liked to spend time with me.”
Lero-Ro’s feeet stopped before he could order them to move, rooting him against the floor. If he knew – though he did not, as there was nothing to know about, it would be a problem. A liability at best, a weakness at worse.
Maybe he would dare, walk this needed step.
