“o-oh. sorry, thought i mentioned it: your sister!” shinya smiles. “miss niijima’s really smart and really cool, just like you. akira tells me about you––he thinks you’re probably the smartest person on the team.” his smile goes a little lopsided.

She’s not exactly sure she likes being compared to her sister. A wince crosses her features before she smiled softly at the mention of Akira saying she was the smartest. “Th-thanks... I suppose...”

(A kid?) He rubbed at the back of his head, other hand shoved in his pocket. This was Sector 003, and some kid was wandering around.

“Hey, you, boy,”

“You are either new here, or trying to act brave. This Sector isn’t for children.”

        video games always seemed a luxury out of reach; as a child, he was only allowed to do art. he wasn’t able to go outside & play with the other kids his age, so perhaps, he was rather jealous about watching the younger play in the local arcade. he only came here because he was told the claw machines had some interesting prizes this week, which peaked his interest. yet, he was rather fixated on the screen before him; the smaller male was quite good, from what he could see.

Akira was surprised to find out that Sojiro opened the cafe up for New Year’s, but he was excited to invite friends over to celebrate. A few of the other Phantom Thieves that didn’t already have plans had piled into some of the booths, and Akira found himself keeping an eye on Shinya.

As the countdown began, he slung an arm around the other boy’s shoulders, knees bent just slightly to get better to his level. At zero, Akira gave him a squeeze and dropped a kiss on the top of his head. “Happy New Year!”

[ 🕹️ ] —— “aww, gross...!” shinya gagged at the kiss to his head, trying his best to be pouty... but the joy of spending new year’s with his mom nearby and his big bro and all of the phantom thieves got to him.  without him willing it it, a smile curled his lips and he gave akira a big hug back.  “happy new year!”

he  doesn’t  have  much  to  say  about  him ;  shinya’s  another  kid  to  get  himself   wrapped  up   in  a  world  far   bigger   than  he  could  have  expected . stuck  in  the   MIDDLE   without  even  knowing  it ,  trapezing  around  with  a  bunch  of    WASHED  UP   CRIMINALS .   this  isn’t  a  game .  a  kid  with  messy  hair ,  too  bright ,  doesn’t  stand  a  chance . 

somewhere  along  the  lines  adachi  can   APPRECIATE  it .  shinya’s   cocky .   adachi  thinks  him  a   loudmouth .   he  knows  where  the  truth  sits ,  and   yet    ——   even  then ,  along  the  lines : 

                                                        ❝  i  mean ,  if  it  means  that  much ,  i  can  walk  you  back .  ❞

part  of  him  wants  to  keep  the   WOOL   fastened  tight  over  shinya’s  eyes.  for  the   selfish  thought   that   he   looks  up  to  adachi .  the  first  to  do  so ,  openly ,  to  treat  him  like  an  extension  of   family .   it  allows  him  a   leadership   role ,  a  place  static  and  held  quick  by  a  belief  that  adachi  does  not  share ,  but  one  that  he  could  accept .   

(   shinya  doesn’t  know  what  he’s  done ,  and  isn’t  that    DANGEROUS ?    adachi’s  just  a  cop  in  his  eyes .  honest .   righteous .   a  damned   hero .   he  plans  on  keeping  it  that  way .   )

09. — chocolate

Although Yusuke has a great admiration for chocolates, he will usually opt for snacks that are more affordable. As much as he appreciates snacks / food that are more costly, he has gotten used to having things at cheap prices. Even then, sometimes Yusuke isn’t able to get as many snacks as he would like to considering he’d rather use his money to buy gifts for someone else or to spend it on his art supplies. 

46. — skies

He finds himself staring at the sky quite often. He is often most inspired during sunset when he sees an array of colors in the horizon. He wouldn’t say he’s one to watch sunsets consistently, but when he catches them in the right moment it really does help his art block. He tries to keep himself grounded, but he’s noticed that when he’s feeling stressed that’s when Yusuke tends to look up towards the skies in hopes of some sort of inspiration. He also enjoys looking at the shapes in the clouds. 

47. — stars

Yusuke is absolutely fascinated by stars and quite enjoys spending time at the planetarium. It is a reminder that there is much more out there beyond this world. He is particularly fond of looking at pictures of space and the galaxy! It’s probably one of his favorite type of prints too. He definitely is one to enjoy star gazing whether it’s alone or with a friend.
