biomech notes
To recap: Ethan's arm was broken in three places (not including his wrist which also sustained a facture and his fingers as well -thumb not included-) by Anthony. He then later had a bit of a breakdown (which was understandable due to the circumstances) from Jack's faux doc that he made on Ethan and Michael and proceeded to break his cast and furtherly damage his hand by punching a wall over and over like a fucking retard. Anyway So Kaiser suggested he just biomech the man's arm. Ethan, who has a phobia about surgery in general (amputation, even for resoration, is therefore a medical procedure that is so far in the red zone that it might have it's own color coding), said no. Everyone basically hounded him for more than a week making it clear that his arm's fucked now with big, bold, capital F U C K. Michael agreed that it would be better if he got it fixed. Michael of course can convince Ethan of anything by just shrugging in agreement so They would have used Stout's shop for it as Kaiser (like Push, Jack, and everyone else that can be considered a MEK maestro) will use one of his spare work rooms as needed. The rooms are probably the most sanitary any of them can find for having as much equiptment as it does (and more specifically: updated equiptment. Pays to have friends so heavily into the scene). Kaiser, ulike a lot of other maestros, insists on the patient being no more than 93% under for it. This mere 7% may seem insignificant for how awake the patient is, but Kaiser will swear it allows him to better gauge how the procedure is going. 'citizen' Push and Jack Holmes work in similar ways, though both are said to keep their patients far more sentient (Jack for example did any and all of Stray's operations while he was 100% cohrent, only numbing whatever areas that were needed, including for the chip removal on Stray's brain). Kaiser removed Ethan's arm (he put a soft barrier up between Ethan's face and the work being done to make it easier on the guy, but he did have to increase the flow of drugs in the IV once he began to do any cutting (it was at 89%, but 100% numb. Kaiser increased it to the full 93%). Once the arm was removed, he removed all the skin (full coronal inscision only, fingers included), and then stripped all muscle seperately. The skin was kept in a 'wet slide' or 'wet negative', which is a steralized, enclosed container made off of a cast of the skin's original solid form. The skin is placed on directly, where it is sucked against the cast by a constant flow of vat-processed (aka cloned) blood and minor electrical pulses, keeping the skin alive. Minor chemical compounds furtherly help keep the blood from clotting and solidifying. The casing, which rests flush to the skin, then is closed directly over the cast. The muscle was placed and fused directly onto the biomech arm. This was the reason Kaiser did this at Stout's shop, as Kaiser has to strip the muscle away first to be able to get to the lower layers and then build upwards. Each room in Stout's shop has atleast one elasticity vat. In the vat one connects the very ends of the muscle tissue to small, jelly-like clips that gently stretch and then relax the muscles in a natural fashion (the fluid they remain in is no different than that of a wet negative, including with minor electrical pulses that made the tension put to the muscle). As Kaiser built up the muscle, he would have worked in the electronics and mechanics as he went. The skin would have been seperated before placing it back on, the deepest layers of dermis seperated from the superficial by a thin, heavily porous layer of something similar to metal, but very much not. I'm still not sure what this shit is material-wise, but it's the reason a well built cyborg can punch through a brick wall and not break all the bones in their hand or strip all of the skin off in the process. Ethan is doing alright-ish now. His arm is sore and itches, and he's suffering from what Kaiser calls PPLimb, which is phantom-phantom limb, in that his brain is convinced his arm is amputated, so all sensations he feels through it he second guesses. It also causes Ethan to not reach out to touch/grab things that are handed to him, and if he fell he'd probably only reach out with his left hand. The biggest concern there is that the right arm would remain limp and he could hurt his shoulder if it twisted wrong. There is the possibility though it would remain rigid at his side.

Stuff written by Tyber's crew. It had ended up being a collaboration but I don't know where the rest of this went. End of story is basically this : Michael can handle things but his son has a tendency to do a shit job of it.
notes
11/26/09 Notes by Tyber's crew about Roland and Cat that allude to Stout.
So far only Roland knows them, and their name is Cat (originally Kate). Roland knows them because Cat was messing with some boy in an alley and things got hot and this boy didn't appreciate that Cat didn't have the body parts he was expecting (they're young and prehormones, only 14 or so, so they pass and they pack) and was starting to get rough/mean. Roland, who was watching this, ends up coming over calm as fuck (as always) and kills this kid infront of Cat. Cat knows who Roland is/what he does and panicks and starts to freak out. He makes it clear he has no interest in Cat, and starts disecting the kid, telling Cat to 'Shoo, keetten.'. When he doesn't, Roland goes back to work, saying that Cat can watch, then. "I.. I know your face." "And I know your's. But I can use this knowladge, da? Like your little secret?" "Fuck you." "Ve both have secrets then that ve both know. It should make you feel better, leetle boy." When Roland leaves, he leaves some of the organs wrapped up in cold packs stuffed back in the chest and stomach cavity, which he puts against the side of the wall, calling someone and talking in Russian into the phone. He tells Cat to 'Vait here. He will give you things you need.', and leaves. But yeah, felt like sharing.
