Confession: Today at school I had an "angelic power" rune on my pencil case (from TMI :3) and all the boys thought it was a swastika. I just about died.

Confession: We all have our favorite books right? When I see another person reading one of my favorite books, I get a rush, especially if I suggested it. It's almost like I am sharing a part of my soul with that person, they get to see into what I love and what I relate to. Is this weird? I just get a thrill out of sharing that experience, especially with particularly emotional books.
No, I don’t think it’s weird at all. And I totally get what you mean. I think it can help understand a person better when we read the books they love. It really is like getting a chance to look through a window into their minds.

I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE (｡･ω･｡) I kinda like worn out books. I mean, yeah, it's sad and all to see a ruined book. But, to think that those spine creases proves that a book was read (and loved) and read and read and read again and again... I think it's weird but I like it. I look at my shelf and see some of my books with severed spines, it makes me happy to think that I've lent those books to others and they liked them well enough. :))
I have nothing against damaged books. My HP's are worn, has yellow pages, and creased spines but I can't bear to give it away. It's my own weird reader quirk that I try to keep my books as perfect as possible. But of course that rarely happens because it is inevitable that the books get worn while reading it.

I HATED 'The Selection' by Kiera Cass. I bought it and gave it a shot because it was on the National Bookstore's top charts but it was TERRIBLE. The main character was so pretentious, whiny and SO FAKE AND OBNOXIOUS. Like literally everyone around her tells her she's pretty and instead of saying thanks she gets pissed and that's REALLY unrealistic. Then there are too many thg parallels and it was so unoriginal. And lastly, the author seemed to be FORCING the " love triangle" on to everyone.

Nico in PJO is pretty shitty, but from what I've read of Heroes, he goes through a lot of maturation once he finally gets the fuck over the loss of Bianca.
This is why I said hate is such a strong word to use. But like you said before, maybe there's a reason why anon used it for him.

I read the old translation of Les Mis in seven days because I found it so interesting. When I say this people look at me like I have rabies.
Really? Wow. That's amazing. I mean, I love Les Mis but I don't think I can read it in a week.
