Les Fradkin has released a new song by California ™ - "Come To Me."

Les Fradkin joined forces with California ™ in order to create a new song named "Come To Me." This exciting musical adventure has a deeply rooted background, and Les & Loretta Fradkin continue to offer their huge passion and talents to crowds from all over the world!

The compressed, bright vocals sounds are reminiscent of classic artists like ELO, ABBA, or Steely Dan, but the music also has an indie-pop sheen that even fans of contemporary artists such as Francis Moon might appreciate!

The song "Produced by Les and Loretta themselves, features music and lyrics by Les, and it was initially recorded in New York City on May 6, 1980. This is an actual musical time capsule! While the backdrop and additional overdub date back to the eighties, Loretta recorded additional overdubs in 2022, finally completing a song that's been in the making for decades. Let's just say it was worth the weight!

Les Fradkin has released a new song: “Together.”

September 2023 - Les Fradkin is an artist who combines the energy of rock with the roots of Americana. His most recent track, “Together,” also appears on his full-length album, "Reality - The Rock Opera", which is a collection of songs that highlight the artist’s musical background and vision. Right off the bat, “Together” strikes a chord for its impressively galvanizing sounds. Les Fradkin is a producer, composer  and multi-instrumentalist with a truly diverse background.

He recently released an Artist Kit Sampler, which showcases some of his notable songs and compositions. The first thing that emerges is Les’ incredible variety. As a musician, he is always eager to explore new ideas and styles, and his songs offer a broader perspective on his talent. This summer, Les was actually rewarded with an inclusion into The Akademia’s Hall Of Fame, whose board members unanimously voted for. 

The achievement is a huge milestone and a recognition of Les’ creativity and career-spanning excellence. The Akademia will also hold a Gala Event in Los Angeles, where the artist will be honored in person on May 18th, 2024. Find out more here.

Back to “Artist Kit Sampler,” the six tracks featured on this release feel like a really great example of what the artist can do. The song “Jangleholic” has a timeless 60s vibe reminiscent of groups such as The Faces or The Who. In addition, the song “Magic Attic” showcases Les’ ability to create masterful vocal harmonies and apply them to the immediacy of a classic rock track. The guitar tones are jangly and bright, creating a lot of punch and note definition. The song “Under The Covers” is another highlight of this EP. The drums have a fast-paced feel, which locks in perfectly with the guitar tones. The structure of this arrangement is reminiscent of earlier Bruce Springsteen but with an extra focus on vocal melodies and harmonies.
