It’s Sunday morning, and I’m all pumped up and ready to take on an eventful day, because a duo named Wild & Free has me feeling some smooth nu-disco vibes on new song River Of Nile. They have me dancing circles around my cat with the slick and glassy jam, a song that has me reveling in a neon 80′s glow of swanky cool bliss. It’s a sweet and grooving Cut Copy, Hot Chip, and Bee Gees combination on the glistening indie dance joint. Wild & Free is a new Southern California based project created by Drew Kramer of Les Professionels and George Cochrane of Give In, and they’ve offered up a dazzling array of lustrous liveliness on their sophomore EP, Moonhowler. EP track The Moonhowler sails breezily, a glimmering, sparkling paradise sure to leave you in great spirits. Take the track for a spin below. Download River Of Nile and The Moonhowler from Tonden, here and here, respectively. Throw on some summer linen, put on those cool shades, and let Wild & Free cast a tropical disco spell over your day.
