i want to attempt to keep this brief but there's no promises. and before we continue, i want to point out that i am not a lesbian ; i am bisexual. this is important later on.
i have a list of tags that i use on this blog , and this list includes TW tags that i tag regardless of being asked to or no.
i have a policy on every single social media account , every DM and every interaction i really have to warn others when a certain topic that may trigger someone is brought up.
however, do not come into my ask box or my DM's on Discord / social media demanding that i TW tag a sexuality. specifically, i am NOT TW tagging lesbians on this blog or any other accounts i own and operate. the majority of times i am asked to TW tag a sexuality it is almost always saying "Hey can you TW tag lesbians??" because i will just delete your message, as i have been doing for the past month. how fucking dare you ask me such a thing?
no one has ever asked me to tag my bisexuality in such a way, what the fuck makes you think there's an exception for lesbians?
lesbiphobia ( which is something i do NOT experience, this is coming from a bisexual person ) is a rampant and very disgusting issue within the LGBT+ community and outside of it. especially on Twitter, i see it ever fucking day with non-lesbians trying to change the definition of the word and then saying we should remove the L / change it to GLBT+ which is another separate issue holy shit.
lesbians specifically are disrespected and told they're vile / mean / vicious for telling non-lesbians to stop trying to erase what little they have and i refuse to contribute to that disrespect and erasure onto my accounts.
so if you ask me to TW tag lesbians and not lesbiphobia, i am blocking you from interacting with me ever again. you disgust me.
