with god as my witness i might just snap and punch a bitch <3
3 may be my favorite Mass Effect but by god there’s so much to the writing that pisses me off.
Like in the Leviathan DLC (which granted is one of my favorite dlcs in any game) where the research assistant shoots the doctor you were supposed to work with - And how Shepard acts like they’ve never heard of Indoctrination before.
Shepard would have known that dude was indoctrinated the second he held up that gun. They made Shepard so damn clueless in 3 and it’s so irritating

I’m mad that I didn’t really discover Ghost until late last year, who fucking kept this shit from me. Why did no one tell me
Something that’s always really bothered me about Fallout is that for the past 200+ years where the timeline takes place, we’re lead to believe that people have been listening to the same exact songs that were recorded before the war and never made anything new.
Like they have access to radio stations, are able get them up and running, and able to broadcast in a wide range. And yet, supposedly, no one has ever booted up an old abandoned recording studio or fixed up old and broken instruments back to working order and made new songs to broadcast.
It’s such a “minor” detail that I think was extremely disappointing to overlook. Music is such an important part of human history, along with other forms of art, that I don’t find it believable that no one (minus Magnolia from 4) has made new music in all of those years post war. Humans in nature cling to art in times of struggle, especially music, and the sheer amount of “inspiration” that comes from a post apocalyptic world would no doubt produce new music that people could relate to.
Like yeah it’s just a video game and it isn’t meant to be realistic, I just think this was an unfortunate factor to skip past.
I spent three days in sims 4 making the demon lord castle from Obey Me! and it was pain every step of the way. I’m drained. My soul has left my fucking body I need to recharge
So I finally sat down and reinstalled/remodded fallout 4 after wanting to play it again for months but I almost have 1k hours in it so I needed something to make it fun
So I decided to download just about every mod that makes the game harder and scarier, including better locational damage, a lower spawn rate of loot including food water and ammo, (it is 200 years into an apocalypse after all, you wouldn't realistically find 30 boxes of Mac n cheese and two cases of .38 mm rounds just sitting around), harsher survival, a mod to make super mutants extremely powerful and terrifying no matter what level you are, mods to heighten the spawn rate, strength, speed, and sound of feral ghouls, a radiation system overhaul that forces you to use a gas mask and find or make filters for it otherwise you get hammered by 30-40+ rads per second without it, and various lighting and music mods to give the game a more dark and unsettling atmosphere.
I played for about two hours last night and died about eight separate times. I had a ball.
