Things My Boyfriend Does: #1
Rolls over in bed, grabs my butt, and falls back asleep.
It’s 01h30, and I look tired. Je desire mon lit.
Deep Sense of Loss
Three nights ago, my family and I fell victim to one of the most tragic events anybody can experience. We lost a cherished and irreplaceable member of our family.
Unexpectedly losing my dad, who I love dearly, was the most eye opening experience to date. His death has already made me realize something, though. Life is fragile, but it’s also beautiful. People are there to support you if you take them up on their offer. We will lose those we cherish dearly, and it really feels as if a tree has been ripped from the garden of what is your life; however, somebody or something will come along and slowly replace that void with something new. It won’t mask the blemish at all, but it will have a beauty if its own.
Whenever someone passed away, people always seemed to say the same things about how it was too soon for them or how you never know what you have until you lose him/her. Deep down, it always bugged me when people said those things. I hate clichés, and this was no different. I have come to realize, though, that sometimes there is only one way to describe something we all know but continue take for granted.
That’s sort of how my mind is processing Dad’s death. I see the people there for me, lime my family, friends, and especially wiscsaxgamer. My brother also has a baby on the way, so I will get to see the miracle of new life.
I used to be such a spiritual person, especially since the passing of my grandma in 2008, but I lost it, somehow. I think I’ll look into that, once more because I feel that I need to rediscover myself.
Meow.
That ungrateful little shit! I had to give my cat a chunk of my hamburger because she wouldn't stop batting at my arm, otherwise. After she finished eating it she left my room! I think my younger brother spoils Kalley too much. wiscsaxgamer, you still want a cat even if it does what mine does?
Tumblr page updates!
Most of you probably don't visit my actual page too often, but I made interesting changes to it.
First off, I started using my registered domain name www.couragen.net (Pronounced: courage-en -- no pauses) Though, you can still get to my page by lescooterbug.tumblr.com
Secondly, I added a loading page (just because).
Thirdmost, I changed my page's profile picture to my logo, which I created last year, but never used. Until I find a better use for it, I decided to place it there.
Quatrième (4th): I updated the time-stamp next to each post to reflect my timezone (Central Standard Time - CST). Not that I really needed to.
Explanation: I was mainly bored, but I wanted a slight change. Kind of like when a program upgrades from 2.0 to 2.1 (or something like that). There may be slight changes, but the overall functionality. The story behind Couragen is mainly personal. It's just a pseudo-word I created to represent my continuing personal growth through life. Courage comes from life experiences and knowledge, does it not?
Hooray!
My House Hunter's post decided to take off (more like a steady trot, really). That's a first for any of my posts. =P
It's this post, here
I'm addicted to this show mainly because of the couples who say stuff like this.
