The BEST birthday gift

This takes place in World Without when Gryf and Solaris are still at the Arbos Elementa.

REGEENNN !!!

Regen jumps violently as she was pulled out of her book by a wild Solaris.

What's going on Sol!? I thought you were still fighting with Gryf to see who is the fastest apple eater!

Well, that was months ago, but that's not what we're talking about, Reg!

Solaris takes Regen's desk chair to sit more comfortably.

Regen waited patiently for her friend to speak, but as the silence began to lengthen and Solaris seemed to be deep in thought, Regen completely forgot, the pink-haired girl decided to break the silence.

Ummm, it's about…

Sol.

Okay okay, it's about Gryf

That was a surprise. Since when does Sol care about Gryf? Unless it's to prepare a bad joke for him?

What's going on with Gryf?

Well, in a week it's his birthday

So what ?

Well, we have to find him a present ! The elf with silver hair declares with big gestures.

But I can't find a present for her. At this last sentence she seemed completely disappointed.

Well, that's a bit normal, there's no store at Arbos Elementa, Sol.

Yes, but he was able to find the perfect gift that I wanted for my birthday!

Sol, it was a pair of rollerblades.

But still! He won't beat me for the best birthday present this year either!

Regen should have known better, it was just another competition. Although this one looked a little more adorable and a lot better than the last one - digging up as many earthen cups as possible, she didn't even know how they got there!

Okaaayy. So you have to find the gift that will please Gryf the most, right?

Well, now you just have to find out what he really likes!

But how? I've known him for years and all I know is that he hates red, loves blue, meat -especially squid-, that he likes to climb trees, jump over them and sneak up on people to surprise them !

And as if to confirm his last statement, Gryf's upside down head appears in front of the open window of Regen's room.

The two girls let out surprised exclamations before Regen knocked him off his perch with his wind and they saw the boy fall back on his feet.

The redheaded boy only gives a mocking look before running away to avoid the wrath of the two demons

We just have to find out what cats like!

She's jumping for joy because this year it was sure that she was going to win the best birthday present contest !

Uhh, what is it ? Asks Gryf confused while holding the funny package with inside some strange grass.

Catnip ! declares Solaris looking extremely happy with herself.

Finally Gryf won again the contest of the best birthday present.

Résumé :  

Les Légendaires retrouvent leurs véritables identités. Alysia est en grand danger, les souverains se rassemblent, l’heure de l’affrontement final a sonné. 

Critique : 

Une fin qui m’a surprise ! Patrick Sobral a conclu de manière efficace la saga des Légendaires. Une saga qui a été incroyable. Les dessins sont toujours aussi beaux, l’histoire toujours intéressante et addictive. L’histoire monte en intensité dans les deux derniers tomes. Les personnages restent attachants du début à la fin. Le dénouement fut surprenant et étonnant. Une belle fin pour une saga épique !
