gdo its so cool that they made him have this period of doubt and when he was sure there was a sense of relief he was happy 2 be able to identify himself with something this show is so so REAL

RIGHT and the fact that he could still be selfish and misguided!!!!!! he didn't tuck and roll out of the closet and into a relationship!!!!!!! rae's patience wore thin pretty damn quickly, she was not a Loving Gentle Brilliant Tremendous ally and that linked his personal growth back to hers!!!!!!! they acknowledged the difficulties generated by his history of dating girls and the weight that the perception of heterosexuality and its subsequent loss bears on relationships both close and casual which is something media targeted @ teens never want to address!!!!!!!!!! i think all things considered they handled it pretty dang well
