Meet the founder of my legacy, Rose Leslie!

Rose just moved to Windenburg from Willow Creek after moving out of her mother's house. Rose and her mother have had a difficult relationship for a long time; Rose's mother had her very young, and as a result resents Rose, as she couldn't run wild and do whatever she wanted because she had a child to worry about. After a huge blow-up fight with her mother, Rose decided to pack her bags and leave.

Rose has big dreams; she wants to become a rock star, and someday she wants kids of her own so she can give them something she never got as a kid; a mother who loves them unconditionally.

I'm so excited to start this blog! I'm actually already quite far along in the save itself; Rose's first baby is already a toddler in-game! I've never stuck with a legacy save, so I'm hoping posting it on the blog will help me stick with it! I used this random legacy roller for the parameters. I will be posting legacy updates once a day, but if my queue gets really egregiously behind I'll up it to twice a day as needed.

And here's our first baby! Meet Lyric!

Rose really speedran having her first kid. I guess that's what I get for not checking my pregnancy chance settings when I started playing. From here on I'm gonna tweak my mods so the legacy goes a LOT slower.

As Rose waits for the doctor, she thinks about how much she wishes her mom was here. She could pet Rose's hair like she used to when Rose was little, and tell her that childbirth isn't really as scary as it seems. Rose wonders if, maybe, there's a way to salvage her relationship with her mom someday...

It's go time! Ulrike drove Rose to the hospital, but then had to find parking so Rose had to check in alone. Despite taking childbirth classes and reading as much as she could, she's still feeling very anxious about the event itself.

Rose spent some time painting today. Painting under the cut. It sure is... a painting?

Rose doesn't regret her choice to go through with her pregnancy, but some moments the challenges of being a single mom hit her like a ton of bricks. Good thing she has Waffle to make her feel less alone.

Paolo explained that he doesn't wanna stick around to raise a kid. He'll pay child support and he'd be happy to have the kid over some weekends, but he doesn't want to be a fulltime parent. Rose understood, and so the two decided to break it off. They're also ordering a paternity test, which they should have the results of in a few days.
