hey, i have a question about the "other characters" portion of the application. is this where we list the other character we need to apply for? or just an alternative character you're interested in? or both lol

yoo!! that’s the section where you should list alternative characters you’d be into playing in case we have multiple ppl applying for the same character; even just one alternative option for each “affiliation” is helpful! and it’s also the place to tell us if you have a preference for one of the characters you’re applying for over the other (also in case of multiple apps for multiple characters) so we know who your heart is most set on if we can’t give everyone both of their first choices!

so you successfully became my favorite blog, jsyk, but also about american boys: i think they can be split into dif categories tbh. i'm dominican and i moved to the u.s., but dominican boys who were BORN here are actual trash (combine dominican sexism and american sexism and voila: you get a magical disgusting beast) and also like west coast fuckbois versus east coast fuckbois are v different beasts, but they both suck. never been to the south before, but i imagine they also suck. they all suck.

hey! loved the latest chapter of rebuilding! i was wondering if you had any advice in terms of updating long fics? i'm writing my first right now and i had the first ten chapters written already so now i'm uploading them weekly, but i think maybe every three days would be better? eehhh i don't know. what do you usually do?

So... I’ve done daily, weekly, and “I haven’t updated this for 4 months because stuck.”

I’m a fan of weekly just because it gives everyone a chance to read it (people and their cursed habit of having lives that keep them from reading all day) and it’s less pressure for you.  With 10 prewritten you have  2 and a half month cushion in case you get writer’s block or sick or go on vacation and that can’t be a real anxiety reliever.
