Two days ago, I stumbled across this fanfic on a Reddit comment saying it was one of the best pieces of fanfiction OP ever read and oh boy were they correct. I've never read Les Misérables, nor watched the musical, nor the movie musical, but I decided to give it a read; if it weren't interesting, I'd just click off. My attention was immediately captured; I love the way the author narrates, and they have captured the mind of a teenage boy so accurately. I have been sold on Les Misérables; although the fic is a High School AU, I have plans to consume all forms of Les Mis media in the upcoming days, soon as I finish this glorious fanfic. Everyone should read it; it is easy to follow for those unfamiliar with the fandom, and it is hilarious. There isn't a moment of reading where I don't laugh my balls off. All the characters feel fully fleshed out and conversations natural; the setting is perfect, and hoo boy, don't even get me started on the amount of pop culture references mentioned; they are so funny every time, and I get happy understanding them. I adopted Grantaire's vocabulary into my own and, admittedly, I steal his jokes.

There should be a fandom surrounding this fic. I have searched around, and lamentably, there is little talk about this work of art. I was surprised at this; usually these kinds of fanfics are renowned by the fandom and practically create their own fandom. People should talk about it more.
