Ok I liked the first ep of BBC Les Mis. Javert was good, the Bishop was delightful, JVJ was chewing scenery at a steady pace. The Fantine backstory felt a bit rushed though and man they’d have to cgi in any sexy chemistry with Tholomyes because they looked like a Tinder swipe gone wrong. And her baby was just ... dropped in from the sky evidently. But I’m looking forward to the next ep.
