gomez  clicked  his  fingers  &&  dropped  another  one  to  the  ground  to  which  immediately  ,  thing  picked  up  ready  for  another  strike  from  the  nine-iron  in  gomez’s  hand .  gomez  turned  ,  swinging  the  golf  club  around  for  a  second  ,  gomez  TOSSED  it  to  the  other  &&  then  pulled  his  newspaper  from  his  pocket  .

“  give  it  a  go  ,  ”  he  offered  ,  taking  a  puff  of  his  cigar  .  “  it’s  very  therapeutic  ,  ESPECIALLY  if  you  hit  a  window  .  ”

“Soft, isn’t it?”

A smile grows across Johnnie's face at the gentle ruffling of his hair, relishing in the soft touch. Before Eponine can remove her hand from his head, he reaches up and takes her hand in his in a romantic gesture. Rubbing the skin affectionately with his thumb, he can’t help but sigh contently.

“Don’t wanna mess my hair up too much, my mother’ll fuss over it at dinner,” he laughs at his own joke, squeezing her hand in the process. “You know, she likes you a lot. Tells me all the time that I’m lucky. I can’t help but agree!” A blush settles on his cheeks as his other hand sheepishly rubs behind his neck. Another chuckle leaves him.

“My dad also likes you. I think he’s a bit relieved I finally found someone. Someone… serious about loving me.”
