I don't have one particular very happy moment but I generally feel really happy when I'm reading a new book that I haven't read before, even if it's something extremely depressing, purely because of the thrill of starting something new. Hello! I really like this blog, the whole concept is so original!!! 1) Could you please do an aesthetic post for Insolence by Guerlain? Thank you. :)) 2) I was wondering, do you have recommendations for any Eau de Toilette that is long-lasting, youthful, feminine rather than provocative, floral and/or powdery rather than spicy and/or woody? To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, I consider Black Opium to be too heavy for my age (I'm 18). [1/2]

I’ve tried Candy Florale by Prada, Daisy and other perfumes by Marc Jacobs, and Elie Saab L’ Eau Couture and, on me at least, none of them lasted, contrarily to La Petite Robe Noire and Insolence, which last for 8 hours for me. do you happen to know if Rosabotanica, Chloe Love Story and Chloe Eau deToilette are long-lasting? Thank you, and I’m terribly sorry for bombarding you with questions!!!!

I would not recommend Eau de Toilette at all if you want long-lasting! People wear Eau de Toilette because they want something light and low-key, but it really doesn’t stay on your skin long. I’d always recommend an EDP instead. And, following on from that, I’m afraid that oriental, musky notes are the sort to stay on your skin longer (rather than floral notes).Chloe is notoriously fickle and does not adhere to the skin at all (in addition to having rather synthetic and simplistic compositions), and nor does Rosabotanica. I would recommend brands like Thierry Mugler, Guerlain, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lolita Lempicka, Fragonard… you could try them and see what fragrances of theirs you like, or maybe try their EDTs and see how long they stay.Youthful, long-lasting perfumes I’d recommend are most of Lolita Lempicka’s, Belle Cherie & Frivole by Fragonard and Angel by Thierry Mugler.

hello! thank you so much for writing "steady all the hands", it makes me so happy, it's my go-to fic when i'm having a bad day! i was wondering if the main ship is still going to be pynch or if you intend to make it a polyamourous relationship seeing as everyone was blatantly attracted to adam in the second chapter... i assume that gansey, blue, henry, and noah have a poly relationship...?

ahh no thank YOU for saying so. i’m really glad that it can cheer you up on bad days, that’s amazing <3 

i love this question so i’mma go a little unnecessarily in depth with my answer.

the way this particular universe exists in my head is that gansey and blue have been an established couple since they were in their late teens. henry and noah definitely have....a thing....going on between them that is separate from the rest of the gang. they don’t identify as a couple in the solid way that blue and gansey do but they are semi-regularly intimate with each other, in a romantic/sexual way. meanwhile, i don’t think it would make anyone uncomfortable for blue and noah to be intimate with each other, or henry and gansey, or any combination of those four. and that is a thing that happens, Believe It TM.

ronan, in this fic’s universe, has kind of stayed apart from the poly shenanigans, which obviously doesn’t mean any of them love him any less nor he them. just that in this fic (as in, i don’t see ronan this way as a constant, just the way he tumbled out of my brain into this universe) he’s a bit traditional in the way wanting monogamy for himself. and always has been extremely picky. (see: gansey in chapter 2 marveling at adam being ronan’s boyfriend as a concept in and of itself) and then once he had ducky in his life he decided to throw himself into that completely and romance/sex was not something that was on his mind. for awhile. and this is of course where the story opens, leading to ronan meeting adam and then adam meeting the rest of the gang. so i think, in my mind, pynch would continue to stay separate and monogamous from the blue/gansey/henry/noah trapezoid because that’s the kind of relationship this fic’s ronan wants and even though this fic’s adam def dgaf about monogamy and thinks all ronan’s friends are super 100.emoji a-ok.emoji, if he was in a real relationship with ronan he would be totally fine with it being just the two of them that cross the romantic and sexual threshold among all the others. 

but yeah, ronan was only 50% joking when he told adam they all wanted to jump his bones. bad luck, dudes.

and also, feel free to not see it this way and picture them all kissing and touching all over each other, if that’s what you wanna do. 

there are no rules in my fics and the points don’t matter.

1. I studied a lot of stylistics and textual analysis/visualization as an English major and I never thought it’d make its way back into my post-college life. But now I manage (among others) a text analytics project for business intelligence, so I think that’s really neat.

2. I am allergic to all stone fruit so I avoid raw apples, pears, and peaches. It’s been this way for the past fifteen years? Except I ate a raw apple last week and didn’t get a reaction, so I’ve had an apple everyday for the past several days. At age 24, I’ve just discovered the magic that is the combination of apple and peanut butter.

3. I’m a self-taught web/graphic designer. I started when I was 10. Sometimes I think I should’ve applied to an art school or a design program, but that moment has passed.

4. I love writing, but it’s extremely hard for me to focus on writing for myself. That’s why I love roleplaying -- because there’s another person (or people) on the other end who depend on your input to make things interesting. Like all others, I aspire to write a novel... but it’s just not in the cards for me right now.

5. I kind of prefer going to movies and shows by myself. Movies, especially -- nothing beats that 10am viewing with a nearly empty theater.

6. I’m going skiing for the first time this weekend! And it’s going to snow! I’ve never done a winter sport of any sort so this will be very interesting. My boyfriend thinks I will be able to progress to more slopes than just the bunny one, but I doubt it.
