iconic duo

            the surprise of seeing junho ( @bejun ) joining next gen too, to junho be the first one to scold him during the show, the two ending up performing together, and now? both managing to get into the same company. noel feels a bit stupid that he hadn’t realized earlier that junho wanted to become an idol. junho was the first one to scold noel for not taking the show seriously enough, and noel had felt like the other over-reacted, just to realize he should’ve listened to jun. it felt awkward that jun had been right and noel had kind of just ignored it, but getting to perform together at the end of the show, it was a chance to show jun that he was finally taking it seriously, and he was happy that they didn’t end the show on bad terms.

he’d clapped when it was announced that lime entertainment offered a contract to junho, ready to congratulate him after the show and then go home himself, just for it to be announced he too was getting offered a contract from lime entertainment. he was nervous and unsure, but his growing love for dance made him decide on signing the contract. and wook felt quite lucky he now had the chance to once again train together with jun. 

he sits down, stretching his legs as he turns his head to look at jun. “i’ll be honest and say, i hope we’ll get to perform together again” he smiles to the other. “would’ve never guessed i would’ve gotten signed from next gen, but now i’m lucky enough to practice together with you, and not just for a show”.

meeting, again

            truthfully he should’ve listened way earlier. when junho ( @bejun  ) raised his voice at him for not taking it seriously enough, he’d ended up confused, but as time passed, he realized he should’ve listened. and junho was his friend, so it wasn’t like the other had ever been out to sabotage him, still though, when junho told him to take all of this more seriously, he’d raised a brow and wondered to himself why junho was taking it so seriously. he feels bad a bit, that he didn’t listen to junho, but first began taking it seriously when the judges told him how awful he was. after coming to realization that junho was right, he felt a bit bad, and like he had to apologize for not listening to his friend.

but through the show after my turn, they hadn’t particularly crossed paths much, never on the same team, not even for sports day. but for the final performance they were together, and noel couldn’t help but being happy. the chance to perform with junho, someone who had obviously proved they deserved to be within the top ranks, and the chance for junho to see him again, but this time where he would take it seriously. he has a smile on his lips, claps the other on the back “jun, i promise i’ll take this seriously, so let’s promise to make a good performance” he shows his pinky finger, indicating a pinky promise. “i wonder how i never knew before how you’re such a good rapper… and singer… and dancer”.

santa tell me

          the intention had to be going to shop, quickly were they distracted though. wook wanted to get over the christmas shopping quickly so he didn’t have to stress about it too close to christmas. he did feel like he cared more for christmas than so many others, but it also seemed like christmas was a bigger deal for his family than most families here in korea. while there was christmas sweaters, hot chocolate and christmas lights during this dark month here in south korea, it felt like the people in south korea didn’t make it as big of a deal as wook’s family did. he’d brought jun ( @bejun ) along to shop, hoping to get help on picking gifts and to make this shopping trip more fun.

there hadn’t really been any shopping though, it might be what they came to the market to do, but they were quickly distracted by food and drinks. with wook having gained a new job and his homemade jewelry selling quite better during the christmas month, he wasn’t worried by money today, gladly treating jun both to food and the hot cider, and as they’d been talking, he hadn’t realized how much either of them had had of that cider. he feels his cheeks slightly red, and his mouth smiling hard without stop as they talk. looking over jun’s shoulder for a quick moment, he notices something. “is that an ice rink?” his smile widens.
