Dendro
Hello!
Since Genshin Impact's release, Dendro has been quietly swept to the sidelines. Since we aren't getting it until like 2083, I thought it'd be fun to try and theorize how the element might look like in the meantime.
Please don't try and pass this off as anything more than simple fan speculation
Without further ado, let's begin!
Basic Premise:
Dendro is an element focused around manipulating your environment, not unlike Geo Constructs. Nature is much less easily controlled, and must be nurtured in order to see its fullest potential.
Dendro Groves:
Dendro Groves are byproducts of condensed Dendro energy. They can be created by Dendro characters using talents, enemies, and certain elemental reactions. Dendro groves can also be affected by certain elements.
Dendro Groves can gradually grow up to two times in size for their duration. A total of 3 player-made Dendro Groves can exist simultaneously in a player's world. This limit also applies in Co-Op Mode.
Elemental Reactions:
+
Burning: Applies fast-ticking, low damage Pyro DoT effect. Halts the growth of Dendro groves.
+
Grow: After a brief delay, creates a thorny cage around the target that impedes movement. This cage is considered a Dendro grove. Groves made through this reaction are not subject to the maximum number of Dendro Groves a player can produce, and do not grow. Increases the growth of Dendro groves by 1.5x.
+
Permafrost: Lowers Attack Speed and Movement speed by an additional 15%. Slows the growth of Dendro groves by 0.5x.
+
Sunder: The attack that triggered the reaction will do 2x Electro DMG, 1.5x Dendro DMG. Consumes the Dendro grove, dealing massive damage in a large AoE.
+
If a Dendro grove makes contact with Dendro again, growth is increased by 2x.
Dendro reacts with Anemo and Geo accordingly; Swirl and Crystallize.
Elemental Resonance:
Stalwart Roots: Affected by Hydro for 40% less time. Increases Elemental Mastery by 100.
Electro Resonance Update: Affected by Dendro for 40% less time.
