School Stops Giving Homework So Kids Can Play Instead

New York City public elementary school P.S. 116 has become a ‘No Homework’ zone but some parents aren’t convinced the new policy is a good idea. “But that work doesn’t need to be worksheets.”  Pizzolongo agrees with Hsu that reading and playing provides kids with big benefits that are no less important because they can’t be measured by a grade.
