JUNE HAD TO GET OUT of there. She was surrounded by murderers and people who had done horrible things. One of them even resided within her own being. After everything she’d seen, everything she’d DONE, she simply wanted to get as far away from them as possible, not knowing how much longer she could handle the responsibility of playing HOST to a god-like entity from another dimension. Feeling the jester pin her against the wall, the breath left her lungs.
