Okayyy, so. I’ve been watching The Pitt and have some ideas for a Charles/Alexandra/Max au where Max is a resident in an Emergency Department.

The hospital he works at doesn’t stock any Red Bull. At all. He doesn’t fuck with any other energy drink and coffee sucks ass so it’s always annoying when he goes through a shift without one. He tries to remember to buy some for himself at home, but how is he supposed to remember with how busy he is?

Enter the coffee shop just across the street from the hospital. They have Red bull and are open until after shift change, so he can stop by and grab a few drinks before night shift.

Charles and Alexandra see lots of medical staff everyday at the coffee shop they own together. They only have one that only buys the Red bull though.

So Max and Charles live in the same building…And Alexandra is also living in that same building…We all know where my mind is going…

So imagine the soul-marks appear somewhere random on your body.

Alexandra and Charles don’t know where Max’s soul-marks are, just as he does not know where theirs are.

As they show as initials, he can see that Alexandra’s mark is in a more public place on Charles’ body, and the same for Charles’ mark on Alexandra’s body. He just can’t seem to figure out where his own mark is on their skin. It bugs him to no end.

In the same way, Alex and Charles have no idea where either of Max’s marks are. If anything they are more bugged than Max.

What they don’t know is that every single time they have to take a picture on a podium, Charles’ hand lands right on his mark on Max’s lower back. Or when Alexandra will occasionally get the chance to talk with Max, and she pats his chest in goodbye, her hand is right over where her mark is on his skin.

Each and every time this happens Max has to stop himself from flinching away at the electricity that shoots through him.

He doesn’t know that every time he pats Charles on his back or squeezes his neck, that Charles is internally freaking out about the same thing. Doesn’t realize that when his hand accidentally brushes across Alexandra’s stomach in a crowded club, she looks panicked.
