It was late at night already tonight and I needed to do a website update and work in a flier in Adobe Indesign so midnight wifi riding at Lestat's on Park it was. Earlier today I had a poke bowl of spicy tuna sushi in P.B. and after doing my business in the bathroom at Lestat's I left it sitting on the toilet paper dispenser next to the throne. I've been distracted lately by a new apartment search and I guess my mind wandered. Maybe an hour went by. As I was leaving I noticed the void in my left pocket where the Samsung usually is and, panicking, tried to look in the bathroom. Someone was in it and the door was locked. I immediately zeroed in on the front counter and asked the guys in the kitchen if "someone turned in a cellphone". Sure enough my precious link to Everything In Life was safely sitting atop the cash register waiting for me.
