“Come on, come on, don’t stop moving,” Theo whispers harshly. Tara’s shaking hands slip into his with a deceptively strong grip. Theo’s bones creak slightly, and he squeezes back just as hard. Tara winces, but shuffles a little closer to him. Painful, but a welcome reminder that no matter what, they have each other.
