Let’s Converse || Imelda + Clara
Work had been a companion to Clara Baudry for a large portion of her life. It had to be, living with next to nothing was always a catalyst for people to go out in search of more. She had always had a job, but it had not been until she had been accepted to the fine arts school did she stack three on top of one another. The tuition had needed to be paid somehow, after all. And it gave her reasons to spend more time out of the house than inside of it.
Here, though, she had a scholarship! Clara knew that she was still poor. It was a hard thing to forget when every factor of life seemed to revolve around the fact of it. But the stress of it had lessened significantly now that it was just her.
Still– she needed a job. Her savings were growing slimmer and now that school would be out for break, it seemed like the right time to be able to settle into one. It had taken a moment to find but she had gotten an interview confirmed, and off she went. Resume in tow, she made her way to the shoppe at the designated time.
Without hesitation, because she had shifted into get-hired mode now, she approached the woman inside with a smile. “Hi, I’m Clara Baudry, I’m here for an interview?”
