Stop Fucking Up Lethal Weapon!

Can't criticise without them.
Lethal Weapon is a TV show too. Well it came to the UK. And its running pretty fast so I think it's been out a bit.
So it started good.
Riggs had a dead wife and was depressed. OK. That's functional darkness. Got a lot of milage there.
Then they started getting really lazy. They just kept piling pain on pain on pain for him!
His father in law is corrupt. Then he meets a old friend who shot his evil psycho father.
Then the psycho isn't dead. Then it got really bad.
Then he keeps coming back and back and back.
Till there's white supremistists. A half brother.
Fucktard keeps coming back.
The only good thing in the mess is Molly the girlfriend and her son. Who could still work without the runaway criminal friend being her ex and the boys father.
Now the amateurish catastrophe is he got shot by his fucktard half brother. Before leaving for texas and a happy ending with Molly.
This is bad writing 101. Keeping piling unentertainment friendly darkness and misery on it as it all fails horriblely.
In the films they just went war veteran who's wife died. Then kept with he lost girlfriends a lot. Which is better. Because it didn't turn into emo pansy land.
This is beyond a joke. He isn't a emo character. They are trying to make him one.
The poor man is drowning under horrible writing.
Murtaugh is veering horriblely into comedy prissy.
Leo Getz is borderline OK. Shockingly.
Its a shame when good stuff goes bad.
