15) what is your favorite memory

Bonely opened his mouth, closed it, and then put a hand on his chin. What was his favorite memory? He had so many and with so many different people!

“My favorite memory...” he murmured, stroking his chin. “Jeez, that’s a hard one. Like askin’ who’s yer favorite kid or yer friend! But... If I were teh choose one, it’d be when Lenar first hugged me.

“It was after my guys ‘n’ I got ‘em out ‘n’ away from the Suits, uh, some gang men from Velcasco. I think it was about uh... seven months before he got settled, ‘n’ when he stopped smellin’ like he was gonna run at any moment, I gave him the question a’ if he wanted teh be a Bonachard or not. If he didn’t, I wouldn’t stop him leavin’. But if he did, he had a room with me ‘n’ Spoons in Ponchella.”

Bonely’s eyes softened as small smile crept across his lips. “He took a minute teh answer ‘n’ part a’ me was afraid he’d say no. But then, suddenly, he threw his arms around me, hugged me close, ‘n’ buried his face in my shirt with the words ‘I don’t wanna leave’ as his answer.”

He gave a soft chuckle and wiped his eyes with a hand. “I don’t think I’ve ever been happier teh have someone cry on me than that moment. ‘Cause it’s moments like that, that make yeh remember what it means teh be a dad ‘n’ how important yeh are in someone’s life. It’s... wonderful ‘n’ humblin’, y’know?“

9) whats the worst pickup line someone has asked you

Wiping a way a few tears, the raven haired fellow couldn’t help but laugh at the sudden change of gears. “Worst pickup line? Heh! Wow, what a change a’ pace. Well, honestly I can’t say I’ve heard any bad pick-up lines aimed toward me, considerin’ most a’ them were puns. ‘N’ if there’s one thing that can break the tension a’ askin’ someone out, it’s puns!”

He grinned and continued. “But I think the best pickup line was actually a joke teh get a date with me. The one askin’ me started with a joke, ‘Hey what’s a skeleton’s favorite food?’ I asked, ‘what?’, ‘n’ they answered ‘Spare ribs!’ ‘Course I laughed ‘cause I’m a sucker fer that one, but then when my laughin’ simmered down, they asked me ‘So. Wanna go get some?’ ‘N’ I looked at ‘em kinda funny ‘n’ asked, ‘Get what?’ Then they grinned ‘n’ said, ‘some spare ribs.’ I don’t think I ever grinned, blushed so hard, ‘n’ said yes all at the same time before that. But I tell yeh, they were pretty good at askin’ fer dates after that.”

Since I want to continue that little game of art-tag going on between @leticris & I, I figured I’d better learn how to draw Dee’s brother & Owl’s pursuer, Khaos! 

I’m trying out a new style for me - the whole “One stroke line art” thing instead of the messy sketch+erase to clean up I usually do. Tbh I think it turned out pretty well! :3
