Jour Cinquante-neuf: Paris Mona Lisa, you’re guaranteed to run this town// Panic! at the Disco. . . . Second full day in Paris! Started off with a banana Nutella crepe, and a hike up to Sacre Coeur which is just up the street from my hostel. One quick train adventure later and I spent the day at the Louvre immersing myself with classic art including the Venus de Milo, and of course the Mona Lisa. I’m pretty sure we walked 85% of the Museum which is no small feat. After that we enjoyed macaroons from Laduree in the Tuileries gardens (orange blossom, strawberry, licorice, and black currant 😍). Then these two goth kids took on one huge gothic Cathedral- Notre Dame. It was so elegant and there were so many gargoyles to look at and I 100% want to cover my apartment in gothic architecture inspired decor. After a nice break for dinner we got to see the Eiffel Tower light up the night.
