Akane gripped their own forearm as they processed the theorist’s lecture-- a public space that welcomed and opened debate, as long as it was in line with his. But it was outside the halls that they were able to negate and reflect critically rather than float their ideas within a space that complimented his own.

It’s there that they meet Battler.

It’d been some time since they’d found someone willing to entertain their many musings about the status of the universe, or rather their many theories and understandings. It was in discourse that they found mental stimulation that grasped their intellect and encouraged them to engage with others on a level they rarely could.

What would you say the most intimate thing to do with a partner is?

I like this one..

Probably not what some would say, but to share you're inner world, and open yourself up to being truly seen and vulnerable. To me that's THE most intimate thing any one can do. Being intimate just physically is so easy and superficial, and doesn't take anything to do, especially with society how it is nowadays. But to have your mind and heart open for someone to see..thats deep..thats true intimacy to me.

4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?

I would tell the people I'm closest to, probably not family though. I would work most of those days, then take my vacation a week before my time. Then I'd probably spend that time creating my will and listening to as much music as I can. I would not sleep. I would not be afraid, but I'd be so slap happy from not sleeping all week, you'd be afraid.

13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?

I honestly have no idea. Oh wait yes, so I had a friend/roomate who got into drugs which ruined our friendship. Haven't talked to this person since I moved out. One day I randomly get a message from them "hey blah blah blah sorry about what happened between us blah blah I'm better now if you will forgive me" I basically told them that I do wholeheartedly forgive them but I cannot forgive what they did. Good for them that they're better but I don't think I'll ever be able to be in their life again.

Just letting you know I have ended my "Life's Basics" series - an introduction to where my head is at right now and a foundation for how I will proceed with future vids.

All future discussions will be based on more specific topics and I really can't wait to get it out there!

One time about two and a half years ago

I was on vacation with my parents in Italy. Now you must understand that I come from a family with a lot of kids. I have an older brother and two younger sisters, which makes alone time with my parents extremely rare. That summer, all three of my siblings were on summer camp and I was the only one joining my parents.

We travelled through a few cities and spent our last week somewhere in a rural area in Tuscany, where we had an apartment that had two outside pools for all the guests.

I was a bit lonely one of the nights (missing my siblings and not used to being alone), and walked down to the second pool to find that there was some kind of party there. My parents were there too. Since there were only adults and small kids, I wasn’t really interested in joining. I trudged back to the other pool, the one closer to our appartment, and found it completely abandoned.

I didn’t feel like walking all the way back to our apartment to get my bikini and coming back to probably find someone else at the pool. Instead I decided, in the spur of the moment, to just take off my clothes and get in the pool in my underwear.

Those vulnerable, quiet minutes I spent drifting there, looking up at the stars, are still one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced.
