Lone Survivor: You’re dead to me.
It wasn’t the Yankees that brought baseball back to NYC after 9/11.
Fuck off.

Lone Survivor: You’re dead to me.

Welcome to the postseason motherfuckers!
It's t-shirt night at at CitiField, and the great thing is that it isn't just for the first 15,000 fans who show up: It's for all 15,000 fans who show up!
My boss, on his way out to CitiField.
Ahem.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeep
aw yeah
watson's a mets fan
What to look forward to:
-The Dodgers have dropped 8 of their last 9 games.
-The Dodgers are coming off a 4-game losing streak including being swept by San Fran.
-The Mets ended a 4-game losing streak of their own yesterday in an offensive showcase, scoring 17 runs and batting for the home run cycle.
-Daniel Murphy ended a very, very long homerless drought yesterday, scoring his first home run of the year. On top of that, he even hit another one in his next at-bat.
-Ike Davis, for the first time this year, is batting above .200, and he is red hot. In the past 3 games, Ike Davis is 5-11 with 2 HR and 5 RBI.
- And when Ike Davis is on point, so are the Mets.
-With his 25th double of the season, David Wright picked up 5 RBIs yesterday. He now leads the team with 47 RBI.
-Prior to yesterday, when the Mets were on their 4-game losing streak, they left a whopping 40 runners on base. Yesterday they were 7-13 with RISP.
-The Dodgers haven't scored a run in their past 30 innings.
-Dodgers Third Baseman, Juan Uribe is batting .132 since coming off the DL.
-The last time these two teams faced, the Mets took 3 out of 4 games.
-For the first time in 8 games, the Mets bullpen did not give up a run yesterday.
-The Dodgers two best offensive players, Matt Kemp, and Andre Ethier are both on the DL.
-The Dodgers were shut out in 3 straight games for the first time since 2007.
-The Dodgers are obviously the coldest team in baseball, having lost sole possession of 1st place in the NL West for the first time since April 11.
Daniel Murphy goes deep for the FIRST TIME this year!
The longest homer-less streak in the MLB is done. The player with the most at-bats with no home run now has the Mets in the lead with his first of the year! It's been a long time comin!
What to look forward to:
-The Mets are 18-10 in day games
-David Wright is batting .400 in day games (2nd in the majors)
-Cubs pitcher Jeff Samardzija has lost his last 3 starts.
-Although Danieal Murphy has been struggling, he's batting .333 in day games (7th in the NL)
-Jonathan Niese is 3-0 in day games with a 1.99 ERA and 10 ER over 45.1 IP
Now hopefully when you add all of this up, it equals a win... And hopefully a winning streak.
LET'S GO METS!
