With his semblance, nothing was ever a guarantee. If you wanted a smooth outcome, it was best for Qrow to be far, far away from you. It was why he tended to keep his distance.

Really, her and Blake were the only ones that should be allowed near any sort of stove. Maybe Ruby. She could make cookies, if she didn't eat all the chocolate chips first.

Blake knocked on the door, waiting patiently for Summer to answer. She smiled, offering up the books in her arms when the other did so.

"Hello, Miss Rose, um, Summer, Yang and Qrow said you were still recovering and I thought you might like some books to read?"

Qrow and Yang had both mentioned being worried about Summer overextending herself and not taking enough time to rest, so Blake thought, maybe, if they gave her something else to do, it might help. She had picked out a couple of different genres she had thought the other might like, hopefully one would be a hit.

"Do you mind if I come inside?"
