this is sick and twisted what the fuck is wrong with you???? do you think he realizes what he's doing or does it take him finally introducing you to the pitt crew, maybe you join them in the park after a long shift and everyone is so nice to you but robby, the only one who actually got to meet his wife, stares at you for a beat too long, holds your hand a second longer, and then he looks at jack with those sad pitying fuckin' eyes and in that moment jack turns back to you and sees you entirely differently. this whole time he was chasing a ghost right into his bed and he didn't even realize.
