How to report abusive accounts and channels to BigHit

There’s a lot of garbage out there in social media, related to BTS.  Everyone has seen it, whether it’s on Twitter, IG, Facebook, or here on Tumblr.  It is unfortunately permeating the fabric of the fandom and in some cases bringing personal invasions in our guy’s private lives.  

I started to follow an account on IG, to see what is being posted, after it landed on my radar a month ago.  I’ve taken screenshots, when the level of unadulterated untruths just went over the top.  

The woman who runs the account posted yesterday that she’s the one who shared Jungkook’s address with the person who sent him food.  She tried to justify it, like all of her lies.  She evidently pays sasaengs for photos and videos.  She’s the person who posted the video of JK at the gym weeks ago.  She shares most of her photos and video clips as stories so it gets deleted quickly.  She also has a Telegram account that she evidently shares stuff on as well.  She’s a toxic worm, burrowing into the psyche of ARMYs who don’t know any better.  

I’m sharing screenshots here, for everyone to see.  Perhaps some Peeps here will also take the step to email BigHit/HYBE, too..... 

The other thing that I realized is that ARMYs are wasting a lot of energy by posting and reposting “REPORT!!! BLOCK!!” on Twitter, as it does nothing to stop the people from creating new accounts.  It does nothing to actually stop them from doing what they do.  We can report and block all day, but when these people are motivated as they are, they just create new accounts over and over again.  Nothing is stopped.  That is why I feel that sending the information to BigHit/HYBE is the step to take to get some of these people taken down permanently. 

It took some digging in Weverse, but I found the email address that they included in a notice from December 28, 2022 where people can report offenses.  I just found it and I’m sharing it here.  [email protected] 

I’m also going to report the IG account with screenshots.  

Together we have power to take down these toxic people.  We just have to do it in a way that brings results.

They’re always talking about how birds aren’t real, but they forget about our true enemy, Giraffes. With their ugly long necks, how could anybody believe such a lie? They’re used to watch over and make sure the bird drones are being taken care of, they refill the bird drone’s batteries and watch over the skies. Ever wondered why you never see a giraffe close up at the zoos? Because they don’t want you to see the wires in their necks. That’s why they have such long necks, to fit all the pieces of wiring and code to make them care for the bird drones, and they also detect illegal items. Giraffes act like undercover cops, see those videos of giraffes running after a car? That’s because there’s weapons and other illegal items in that car, or the person filming is actually a criminal and the giraffes are going to murder them. I see you there.  I don't know what to do-No I do, I just don't know if I should...comfort you?  No scratch that, I am afraid of carrying out my actions.  Afraid of what? I wish people wouldn't think that ALL Tumblr feminists are extremist feminists cause we all aren't... I don't hate men... I like human beings and I like equality so let's do something about the way feminism is perceived. Women AND men are strong, and society's negative perception of feminism needs to change. Though I will point out that some people who just strongly believe in a concept are seen as extreme or rebellious or dangerous or mean. Not all of us are irrational or extreme. A lot of us want equality for human beings :)
