Make Up or Break Up
Whatever had provoked it, it was an argument which haunted him. Whatever prompted the Scientists to remove him, they’d never a chance to reconcile. If Naoki had even wanted that.
Through all the months, the trials, the disasters, the crazy mishaps - never once did Naoki’s dismissive tone or words truly leave Aichi in any sense. Because he’d spelled out Aichi’s betrayal yet again in having been brought to Hive. It was no different than the last time he’d separated from his treasured friends, as far as his vice-captain could see.
Even gone from the city, Naoki had never really left. He was there, still inside Aichi’s head, his memories, burrowing deeper with the less than pleasant feelings their circumstances had left him to grapple with.
Every now and again, someone who might have resembled any of his friends could wander by - an NPC, another citizen - and carry on.
It just so happened this time, he’d thought it was Naoki and flinched with old, unresolved guilt.
@letsbreaktime
In all honesty, some of the zombies in Sector 3 didn’t seem to be doing anything. They just wandered around, maybe mumbling something about brains. But at the moment, Evie wanted to do nothing more than fight them. Still, she needed a reason, something to justify an attack. So she sat, waiting on a rooftop for a civilian to pass by so that she could save them from the hoard. Soon enough someone did pass by and she didn’t spare a second, leaping from the roof to tackle two of the creatures.
Finally, something fun to do in this city, she thought to herself. While she may not have her weapons, it should be easy enough for her to take out at least a few of these guys with her bare hands. Grinning, she turned to the person whose life she may have saved, maybe.
“No need to thank me. Although I suppose some praise is nice...”
Bloody Hell
Not a place he’d have chosen to be, but a horde of ghosts swarming and descending from the wood-works had forced his hand and a tactical retreat. His skin crawled with the expectation any sound might signal an attack. So troublesome...
And what’s more - ahead, there was the howls of a familiar voice. One which he knew from before Hive, which he’d crossed paths with since, and disappeared without a trace. And of course had history with his current guise.
‘You have got to be kidding me...’
Daring to tread further, rings clasped in a clenched fist, Gaillard ventured around the corner - to find the culprit trying to scare away the bats fluttering around in search of a meal. The idiot wasn’t going to get himself out of a jam this way...
“Why are you standing around? Do you want them to suck your blood, Ishida Naoki?”
switcheroo!

A foreigner who met the Nekroz clan after the second Great War. Formerly disinterested in battle for any greater cause, the art of summoning was taught to him by the clan’s members and kindled a sense of justice within him, eventually bringing him to join the clan and fight alongside them. The power of the Nekroz Mirror allows him to form armour from the spirits of legendary monsters, but his favourite is the firey Jurrac tribe from ages past, and his signature form:
Nekroz of Giganoto
