Life as we know it ||
Elise was rather fatigued after a long day in between her duties at the New York Times and her classes, it was hard to balance her life, specially when she missed home all too much. It had been a year since she had last seen her family, all being too caught in their own routines to meet each other for more than a few minutes along calls and video chats, mailing here and there, but nothing more… and she found herself nostalgic of those she longed for.
Mags had requested for her to join her husband’s friend for dinner so she had made her best efforts to end all tasks, shower and change in what he would consider suitable clothes for a… date. Why on earth had she heeded to Mags? Who would be one to countenance a loquacious woman as her friend to convince her on a date with a man she did not know a thing about? Apparently Elise was gullible enough to permit such thing. With heaved breath the writer had made it though the procedural of attaining decency for such indorsed encounter.
Tenseness wasn’t one of Elise’s traits, not at all, but at the moment she found herself buried in a deep clout of them. She had practically wreaked her closet trying to find something decent to wear, though she had originally thought about wearing a blue dress but then again it was way too formal for pass as casual. After covering her room under a fine sheet of clothes she found it, a pink dress that was fitting on the top part and loose on the lower half, light straps and soft fabric, it spoke ‘date’ all over it.
Once dressed in her impeccable attire it came the hair, she had groaned and cursed until she finally decided to tie it up in a high ponytail, decisively done with it she added a white cardigan and flat ballet shoes before stepping out of her apartment and into the soft light of dawn, smiling at the fact that she was on time and starting her promenade towards the park, the good thing about it was that her house was a few blocks away from where she had been asked to meet him, it only took ten minutes for her to arrive, looking down to her clock she read 7:28, on time and in place, she took a few steps further and waited there, eyes getting lost on the people that walked by and the beauty that surrounded her… hopefully her friend would be right in her choice, or else, she would make sure Mags bear hell on earth for such occurrence.
Ouch {whoops give me some angst}
Send me “Ouch!” for my muses reaction to your muse hitting them in anger.
Breathing... that was all she could do... for once, time had ceased, thoughts fading as pain incited her flesh to taint with crimson, her lip had been cut, her head throbbed as her hand held the side of her face...no, she wouldn't concede such behaviour, perhaps in the past she would have screamed... maybe she would have given him the same rough endearment, not now... not anymore.
It was not only her now, she was not the one to make selfish decisions and profe his anger further from the transgressing one... Elise was a mother now, that meant that she was guardian of both her children.... and the pounce upon her face had been something she was far from expecting, but she couldn't risk anything anymore...
Silently, the blonde lidded hues, tears gathering beneath the veil concealing her greyish irises, inferior brim trembling as she resolved her thoughts into a sole cause... keep her family safe.
"We... are done... I don't want to hear from you, not now... not soon..."Veiled hues had been reveal, tears now falling against pallid skin, frame quivering as she took a few steps back, boring into his olive ones as she did. "— I am not allowing you near our children... I don't know... how you could hurt me like that... break us..." Soft sobs narrowed her mid as she held her belly, pain rousing and encompassing her whole but she restrained them from escaping... no, she had to be strong... she ought to be.
Elise turned her back on him, one thing she never thought she would do... walking away, heart fragmenting into countless pieces, never to be mended for the only one that could do such thing was the one inflicting the shattering of her whole. "... don't try and follow me... I don't want to be near you, just... stay far, you have done enough". then she walked away from the place she had once called home... away from him, and away from the life she had once thought would be redemption for an abandoned soul.

Green and red above her head meaning there was a tradition to fulfil, and so, Elise tugged at the closest stool she could find, climbing on the small wooden piece attempting to balance her weight, six months pregnant as she was, the blonde managed to stand straight and wrap her arms around his neck, bump pressed between while an amused smiled lingered on her plump rims. “Merry Christmas Sam” she had whispered before her lips pressed to the ones of her tall and kind husband.

Elise rolled her eyes at the dramatics of her husband, always overreacting to every little thing she attempted to accomplish. The petite blonde wobbled her way to him, standing before his taller frame as it hovered over her and narrowed her eyes slightly. “Sam… I am pregnant, not sick or inadequate to take a book from a shelf, I used a ladder, and I made sure it was stable before I used it… two steps, that was it, so please… stop being such a overbearing pain and shush before I am tempted to tell Dean you were the one to drop his milkshake on the seat of the impala so that is why it smells like rotten milk”. Concluded the blonde with a crooked brow and curved lips.
