So I started a new full time position at a middle/elementary school. I took a break from all the social media’s and running around yesterday. Couple things I learned about myself this week: 1. No better energy than the 7-8 hours of sleep 2. Take small breaks, change the context of my environment to be more effective 3. Go 110% in on whatever I’m focusing in on in the moment. Context shifting or “multitasking” is what eats up more time. 4. Exercise and diet. Mine suck right now and I’m pretty sure I’m addicted to eating sugary and fatty foods. When I was young MacDonald’s was a “treat” because we never ever ever ever ever ate out. I have a relationship with food that’s fatty and high sugary foods that equates to mmmmmmmm it’s so “bad” that it’s “good.” It also doesn’t work. I’m committed to being fun and joyous and that kind of food gets in the way of my energy over a long period of time. Im committed to my health and I’ll post a new healthy thing I do everyday on socials. #letsgetreadyforthesummer 5. Set boundaries. I hardly saw my partner as my partner for the past week and a half. And when we did it was about business, work or something we’re working on. We also didn’t make time to be connected. What happened was we started to just go through the motions of work and forgot that we’re both humans that love each other. So we took a break and spent quality time with each other devoid of any conversation of work. It was hardcore relaxation and the enjoyment of being. Make time for the ones you love and go 110% on connecting with them. 6. Gratitude. Gives you energy. My class is about to start. I love you dearly. More posts coming cause I’m going to go harder than everrrrrr. Also. Self care. Also. Wellness is real. Also. ❤️🎉🎉🕺🏼🎉🎉❤️🎉🎉🕺🏼❤️🦅🕺🏼🎉
