#WAYBACKWEDNESDAY - This is the Kroger Plus Shopper’s Card I’ve had since the late 1990s (or sometime near then - I can’t remember). The card is cracking and some of it is peeling apart too. It definitely reminds me that it’s an end of an era for the Triangle area since the remaining #Kroger stores in the Triangle closed this month (August 2018). I think a few closed last month (earlier than planned). Fourteen locations have been affected (with a few becoming Harris Teeter stores with two becoming Food Lion and Crunch Fitness). But, there still are some locations in North Carolina and other states too. I did like shopping there, but didn’t shop there as much as I used to. I did like their seafood department and some of their other selections. Kroger was one of the only places I could find boiled custard (which is only available during November and December). Many locations used to be open 24/7, but they cut their hours back. I even remember when Kroger used to rent videos years ago! (Kroger “was” part of the Triangle market since 1989.) #LetsGoKrogering!

Tonight in the store, before I could stop my self, I pointed at this guy walking in front of me and said, "HEY! You in the Camouflage! I SEE YOU!" At which point he turned around and I pretended to read the ingredients of some cat food. Hahahaa! I will forever be 12.
Did I mention he was wearing camouflage from head to toe? Evern his shoes!
