Because the destiel shippers are all heart and sunshine? Really? Do I have to remind you the last few days, when the most disgusting hatred has been send to Jensen? And in defending your precious c*ckles, you send passive-agressive comments about Jared? Read your post and you'll understand how a chill bibro is boiling inside at all this nonsense. And one more thing, if you really think that Misha is not pandering to your side of the fandom you're wrong.
I should probably stop answering to messages meant to provoke me, but I think I have to in this case.
First of all, I haven’t sent anything to anyone. Just rambled about thoughts of mine on my personal blog, same blog where I blabber about my health or my mom or my cat or tea. I recommend blacklisting my url if you prefer not to see my content around tumblr.
And second of all, most importantly, I haven’t “sent”, or made in general, “passive-aggressive comments” about Jared. Because, you know, Jared is a person I have mostly positive feelings about.
Jared Padalecki is an excellent actor who is playing a fascinating character on a television show I love. And part of the reason Supernatural is so good is thanks to Jared’s interpretation of Sam. I think he’s doing a masterful job. Sam is a compelling character with so many complex layers. You know, I am grateful to the entire cast and crew for giving us this amazing show. And of course Jared is one of the biggest contributors to the final result, next to Jensen and the showrunners. In fact, the showrunners have us the story but Jensen and Jared gave us Dean and Sam as we know and love them.
Jared Padalecki is also, from what I gather, a very kind and open person with a big heart. He’s always sweet with the fans, sometimes even at the expenses of his own mental health as he shoulders the weight of the experiences many fans share with him. In the posts I made yesterday I just made a few comments about, from my perspective as an outsider who does not know them personally, it has seemed to me that Jensen does not look fully comfortable in some circumstances that involve Jared too. I made it clear that I don’t believe to hold the truth about them. I don’t know them. I expressed impressions I’ve got relative to a specific, and limited, topic I was talking about with some friends.
And it’s possible to express some impressions that are not totally positive about someone and still appreciate that someone. Do I think Misha is some sort of perfect saint? No, I don’t. Because no one is. Not Misha, not Jensen, not Jared, not me, not Obama. Is Misha “pandering” to his fans? Eh, maybe. They’re his fans. It happens.
I also don’t do anything to “defend” Cockles. Jensen and Misha are individuals who exist independently from me. I appreciate them as people from what I gather about them, but that’s it. What they do or don’t do in their private lives affects me 0%.
If this kind of considerations make you boil inside, I honestly recommend a little self-examination. Not for my sake, or the sake of anyone in the Destiel fandom or anything. For the sake of your mental well-being.
