Did you try looking on google books? sometimes if its old enough you can read the entire thing on there for free :)

Buying a puppy with luke.

oh god oh god OH GOD

buying a puppy with this nupty would be so hard because he would just want all the puppies and he would not be able to decide at all so when you went to the pet store or the shelter he'd see one and start petting it and he'd just fall in love immediately but then he'd see another one and go to play with that one as well and you'd end up spending hours trying to find the right puppy until finally the two of you spot one and it's the cutest little thing, smaller than all the rest and it's really quiet but quick to fall in love with the attention being paid to it and you both would know right away it was the one for you and he'd just get so excited insisting on adopting the puppy right away and taking it to a pet store that allows pets inside so "our baby can pick the toys and stuff she likes" and ugh so much cute
