Hey guys, it's the crazy Viking with something a little less crazy to say today. So today no cars, even though I do love that truck right there, that I have. Okay. This is just going to be a real straightforward talk about life family and the things that really should matter. You know, very often one thing that I talk about with my head detailers, Greg, is that if you find your, why your, how will follow. So guys, I'm going to be vulnerable. I'm going to be personal here. So here's, what's going on is I'm actually in the process of watering all my parents' plants because they're inside the house, uh, due to COVID and everything. So there's literally sick and bed right now. My wife and I have dropped off some soup forum and I'm just doing what a good son should do.
So guys, you know, this doesn't have any bravado or anything like that attached to it. It's just, you know, find your, why take care of your family above all else, because at the end of the day, your family should be the most important thing. And you know, whether it's something as little as, you know, just grabbing the hose and going from that plant to that plant, to that plant, to that plant, to that plant, and just doing practical stuff for your family at the end of the day, they're all you got. Now, maybe some of you have some issues with yours. I don't, but I'm going to be just straightforward, honest and vulnerable for a second and say, I'm blessed that my parents moved this far across the country. A lot of you know me from California, some of you still keep in touch with me.
So guys, you know, people make mistakes. People, you know, do a lot of stuff with family, but you know, please, if you know me, keep your family and keep your family very, very close to you right now. Especially nowadays, since it feels like, you know, we're kind of trying to figure, okay, for my north people out there, how far away is Ragnar rock for, you know, all the Christians out there, but myself included. What chapter of the book of revelation are we in today? So guys, you know, love your family. If you maybe have your falling out with them, just give them a call. Hey mark, what's you doing, buddy? Lots of love. Hope you're doing well, buddy. So, you know, guys, you know, love your families. Um, do practical for them. You know, it doesn't have to be, oh, I'm going to go out. I'm going to go spend $150 on dinner or something like that. It can be something as simple as
Water, the trees, so that they continue to grow, especially with how hot it gets down here in South Carolina.
I want to challenge everybody here. If you haven't called your parents in a while, I had to really, really come to terms with the fact that, you know, my parents are, you know, in their sixties and seventies. And I had to really come to terms with, if I was to lose them, would I be able to step in their shoes as the patriarch of my family? It was, it was a very, a very humbling time, and I really had to look myself in the mirror and ask, am I the man that I want to turn into? And am I the person that's worthy of being the patriarch of his family, because anybody can just outlive their family, but it's something completely different to not only live up to but also enlarge their family legacy.
Guys, you know, love your family and overall, you know, I'm just rambling here. So don't pay me any attention if you don't want to. But you know, do practical stuff. If you haven't called your parents in a while, give them a call. If you haven't called your siblings in a while, give them a call. I know that I need to.
Love on them, cherish them. They're not going to be around forever. And you don't know when your last day will be either. So you know, all the, my only challenge I can give to you guys, and I'm guilty of it too. I put my pants on one leg at a time. I make more than my fair share mistakes. Mark works with me. He sees me make mistakes every single day. So guys, you know, love your families, find the right priority and your right balance. And at the end of the day, you know, if you can look in the mirror and say, I love my family and I did everything I could for them then guess what? You're a blessed man or woman, and you don't really have any regrets. So guys be blessed. And remember, you guys know I sell cars for a living. Nobody else can really say I do anything else, but that work in all the hours that I do. But guys be great. Be blessed. Love your families. That's all I got for you. Have a blessed day!!!
