你好, Hello!
Nǐ hǎo means hello in Chinese. My name is Sasha. I just turned 28. I was born in China. I was left in a basket by a river in the Zhejiang province. I was told that I was born in Fuyang, China, in the Anhui province. I was left to be found at birth. I was adopted by an American woman when i was six months old.
Since my adoption, I’m sure you can guess, a lot has happened in my 28 years of life. I have chosen my life path, since changed my mind, changed it again. I have completed high school, graduated from a small liberal arts college, have gotten sober, traveled to several countries, traveled the United States, experienced trauma and have become a stronger individual. I am currently living my life to its fullest. I have learned a lot in these last several years of my life. I have experienced a lot more life than it may look like on the surface. Something I’ve learned is that everyone has their own journey, their own path; everyone has a story to tell and if we take the time to listen to others’ stories, we can appreciate the human life experience.
