Letter #75 - Hayy.
Dear Tori,
I'm from the Netherlands & I'm not very good a English. But I'm may be getting better! :) I'm in a English Cambridge class, were you can learn to speak English better. And aaaah, in april I'm going to London!
Now, I can understand English songs very well. So I can also understand your songs, seriously I'm i loooove! You have such beautiful lyrics in your songs, I totally agree with you! You're keeping yourself all the time, and your 'yourself' looks like my 'myself', hihi. You stay natural and you're not arrogant or something! I like you and your music very much, Tori! Keep going! And one thing, that isn't inportant in life, but yeah; you're beautiful!
Byeee, X Jente
Ps. I hope sooooo you come to the Netherlands!

Letter #75: Choosey Lover
Dear Ohio,
I have been a choosey lover.
In the Bible, there's this story about the Good Samaritan. A guy was a attacked by robbers and left for dead on the side of the road. A priest came by and didn't stop, a Levite ( God's hand picked people to tend to the temple) came by and didn't stop, but a Samaritan (an enemy of the Jews) stopped and cared for his wounds. He put him up in a hotel and told the manager to bill him for any extra expenses he accumulates.
Would you let someone that you don't like do that for you?
Sitting here behind this keyboard, I say yes. Yes I would let someone I don't like help from dying. I don't know many people that would not. Now, let's change the scenario a bit. Antoine, would sign with a record label who has a terrible reputation? Would you let a manager who has not proven themselves take over your brand? Would you let a girl that was deemed to be unattractive by society's standards heal the wounds of your heart?
Now, that's a hard one.
I want the shiny stuff, the new stuff, the pretty stuff, the expensive stuff. A diamond doesn't start off shiny, a car has been on the assembly line long before it was new, the duckling was ugly before it became a beautiful swan, the only reason Jordan's are $200 is because people want them.
How many opportunities have I denied because they didn't look how I thought they should?
In 2013, I need You to give me Your discernment of heart, God. I want to be a millionaire, but I wonder if I have already turned down one million, $1 opportunities. Selah. Please soften my heart to Your opportunities. Please give me a open mind to all the little ways that You want to bless me.
Time to leave the EGO (Easing God Out) in 2012.
These people I'm calling lame, unfashionable, annoying, dramatic, unlovable may just be what I need to move forward in my life, not just professionally, but emotionally and spiritually.
Keep your eyes open in 2013. Pennies turn into dollars. Dollars turn into hundreds. Hundreds turn into thousands. Thousands turn into more money than I can count. The lesson is "don't despise small beginnings."
I hope you live before you die,
Antoine Edmonson
