Letter#56 - Faith - 11.30.2015

Hey Family, We had a crazy second week here for Hermana Law. There is a lot of work to do here in Lomas and a lot of walking too. Hermana Law will have to go to the doctor at the end of the week for a few foot things. The missionaries talked as they walked and walked and walked. We are really emphasizing member missionary work. We want to invite all to come unto Christ, even the members. They really need the extra support and I believe it will edify the kingdom of the Lord here in Chile. We planned to visit a few families in the ward, some of the family names are Guzmàn and Gallardo. I love them and they have a lot of desires to share the gospel. We have a family home evening planned tonight with one of them and with the others. We are going to bring brownies (Grandma's Recipe) to their neighbors and invite them to see the new church Christmas video. I am excited to see what people we find! We have a very large ward.

It is so fun to see Hermana Law learn Spanish. The gift of tongues is so real. My testimony of it has grown more this week than in my own training. She testifies so powerfully. People understand what she is saying so much more in the lessons and it is a miracle before my eyes. My Spanish is improving just being around her. I love it. I love to train, it has to be my favorite thing so far in the mission.

One of our investigators didn't come to church this week. The one who is the closest to baptism and it really made me so sad. I have had a lot of investigators hide away and not let us teach them anymore so I was so sad. I want Hermana Law to have baptisms in her training. But the hermanas we live with talked to me and told me that Baptisms happen as we show acts of faith to the Lord that we believe they will happen. Doubt your Doubts before you Doubt your Faith. So I started to do little acts of Faith to show that I believe that Araceli will get baptized on the 28th of December and get married. We are going to bring her all that she will need and work to be even more obedient. I know the Lord will help us with our desires to help his children receive a remission of their sins. I love you all. I got a package from mom and Kendra. It was so cute! Thank you so much! I loved the extension fork Kendra.
