My Godchild
Hi my dear godchild, I know you aren't old enough to read this for now but I hope one day, you'll be able to. I have been existing in this world for more than twenty three years and that's merely three times your age now. You're a seven year old girl in grade two and I can almost see how great of a person you will become. I know I'm right because baby girl as long as I'm around, you'll learn a thing or two from me, like how to make your eyebrows on fleek! Just kidding! 😊 My baby girl, I hope that you don't wish to grow up so soon because you have so much to go through and there's too many things to explore. I tell you now to believe me when I say that life will only get harder and harder once you grow up. I'm not scaring you to fear growing up nor am I discouraging you about it but this is the truth or reality that I cannot sugar coat for you. I want/wish you to live your life as you please, set yourself free from society standards, don't allow people to tell you who you should be because baby girl, life is neither a wish granting factory nor does it have fairy godmothers who will grant your wishes. Always remember that you command your life. You drive to your own destiny and that you will shape your future. I am here as I was one of the chosen few to look after you, protect you and I have chosen to ensure that your journey in this world will not be spent on thinking if you are alone. Baby girl, you're never alone, you have me. I know I haven't said too much about life because there's really nothing to say about it. My life will not be the same as yours as you view it as how you make out of it and I advice you to always see the good versus the bad. See through the negativity and feed yourself with positive energy because that will encompass the way your life would be. You can stress out about life but baby, you're just worrying about something that happens naturally. You can adjust the things that is revolving around you and your life and you just really have to strive hard to be the best person you can possibly be. I love you and I always will.
