This tune has been playing on a loop all day today. There’s something about the melody that’s caught my heart in a trap of sorts.
Today I think I will complete that whimsical poem of mine written not with words of my own, but with lines from one helluva playlist of songs. Music and I share a bond, that I believe transcends time. This is my ode to the 2 things that have always saved me, music and words. They’re such an integral part of my soul/DNA/being/existence...whatever you wanna call it and are pieces of every word, sentence and interaction that leaves my body/space. They’ve collectively saved me and my sorry arse & soul, every time I’ve been in a pickle or every time I’ve fallen over one too many cliff edges. It’s purely whimsical, so dear corporate moguls don’t come sue my arse off, there’s nothing left to give.
