Found out about an elevated boardwalk in a nearby swamp and went out on it to see the native irises in bloom. This pink lichen was an exciting bonus!

From a springtime trip to a nearby rose garden.
The first iris of the year! There's a second one blooming, and at least three more buds (one pictured). The amaryllis won't be far behind, with five big buds nearly ready to open!
