How to be a responsible Generation Z?
Generation Z are born between 1997-2012, it is when technologies mostly arises. Being responsible starts within you, it does not come at birth. It is a skill acquired as you get older. You should improve yourself.
Being born in the information age, to be responsible;
1. We need to manage our time wisely by making a schedule. We are more focused on the digital world that we consume about half of our day using it. We need to make a schedule and limit our usage of the technologies to have time for ourselves and not to cram on our activities/exams. Being responsible is having control of what you do.
2. Follow the internet etiquette. Truly we’re born when things are a lot easier that made us dependent on it because it is more accessible. We put our personal information on different sites not knowing the risks of it. Through this we can be a victim of identity theft and can also be a mean to cyberbullying.
3. Learn to discern information. We can get a lot of information in the internet however not all of it were reliable. We should be wise in selecting and absorbing informations coming from the internet. Find reliable sources to know if it is fake or reliable one.
4. Use social media platforms to advocate. Digitalize means we are more connected in the world. Advocate about environmental problems, mental health awareness and other things that can greatly help our society.
Responsible people act, they do not make excuses. We may be in the peak of our career however we should also take charge to improve our society, not only ourselves.
